Frequently asked questions about Crown Inn

Q. Do we have a car park?

A. We don’t have a car park but we do have on street parking which is 1 hour stay until after 5pm and then it is free until 9am the next morning. Or for something a little longer, if you pay at a pay and display car park after the specified times, it will roll over to the next morning so you don’t have to get up early to move your car.

Q. Checking in and out times for the rooms?

A. Checking in time is from 2pm and checking out time is 12pm.

Q. Why do we take their card details?

A. We take card details to hold the room, no payment is taken for your room unless you wish to pay over the phone. Full payment is made on arrival. If a guest doesn’t arrive and has not cancelled their booking within 24hrs of their scheduled stay, we will take a payment of only the first nights stay.

Q. Are the room prices per person or per night?

A. Prices are per room per night.

Q. What about table bookings & food and drink serving times?

A. We do take table bookings. The bar is open from 10:00 until 23:00 – extended until 01:00 at weekends if we are holding an event.

Q. What if we are staying at the hotel but are back after you close?

A. A key is given to you for the side entrance which gives you 24hr access.

Q. Is breakfast included in the price and do we have a veggie option?

A. Breakfast is included in the price with a vegetarian option. Breakfast is served from 8am until 10am. However, exceptions can sometimes be made upon request.

Q. Events around the area?

A. There’s always lots going on in Hebden Bridge, our team are in the know and can give you all the details from theatre to nightclubs to pub crawls.

Q. Do the rooms have baths or showers?

A. The only rooms with baths in the en-suites are Lush and Dué. All the other rooms have power showers.

Q. So we allow dogs in the rooms?

A. We do allow dogs into the bar if they are on a lead and also into our hotel rooms for a one off fee of £20.

Q. Is Crown Inn totally non smoking?

A. We are to comply with current legislation. If any guest is found to have been smoking in our hotel rooms there is a cleaning charge of £40.
